Well the Buccaneers are 24 games post Blow Up that I experienced and I have to say all the "new" coaches I hired from the Paul Hicks School of Blood Bowl are starting to make a real diffrence.

We are now inflicitng a serious amount of pain and suffering on my opponeets.
24 Games Pre Blog. 39 cas for/ 57 against
Post Blog: 59 cas for/ 62 Against
a +20 diffrence!!!
The interesting thing is that I have not increased my hitting power by adding DP's just using that damn Foul button with no reservations when the situation calls for it. My true tactical fouling has gone up big time. Iam averaging around 3.5 fouls a game. I have not had to revert to trully fouling my opponeet into the dust to get an advatntage just fouling smarter than I used to.

Game tip: Foul guys without DP's! It drives your opponeet nuts when he hears crumbling and snapping bones as you deliver kill shot after SI-N as he screams and moans about fouls that inflict damage with out DP. It is very satisfying. You will usually get a "lucker" response or a explective describing your heritage. Now thats "FUN"

Now that Iam increasing my CAS. my fan factor has gone up +5 in my last 24 games. FF is still hit and miss but atleast Iam getting better odds of increasing instead of going down.

Not a large diffrence on paper BUT the Bucs are no longer getting blown off the field. Games are coming down to last turn dodges or blocks for the win or loss. The Bucs are staying in games to the end which was not happening in the Pre 24 games. We have stabilized to the point were we are no longer getting run out of the stadium. Just need to keep that going and improve my "end game" tactics to turn those close ties and losses into wins and ties.

Example: last two games came down to a last turn dodge for the win or tie and I Blew Both of them with a re-roll. Three games ago I lost 2-1 but had two TD shots and failed both on GFI's going into the endzone, both scoring shots with a reroll just in case. This never used to happen when I would lose games because I would roll double 1's on the last play. I never had a shot to lose a game on double 1's!

I still am not trying to have fun per se and just trying to win! But I have to say the fun is returning because Iam in games now and not getting destroyed. In the end I think thats what its all about anyway. I can accept defest as long as I go down swinging and made the other guy earn the win, which was not happening at all before the rant.

It is also nice to see my opponeets crying and carrying on about there pixels getting mangled and killed and being called a "lucker" when I get the advantage and put the boot to the throat of my opponeet. That used to never happen. I have been attempting to pick very high CR coaches to play against and they seem to be the ones most prone to bitching and moaning about luck and pixel death. That brings me much joy watching the supposed "best" coaches getting it handed to them and bithcing and screaming. Now I do not win the majority of the time against the "best" coaches but Iam allways in the game and making them earn the win. Iam starting to think those coaches think they should win running away and never have to actually play against those lame coaches on game finder.

So Iam very pleased with my new outlook on "how to play Blood Bowl" and am confident that this new out look will continue to produce more TD's and casulties which will result in more wins.

On a side note my new plan of attack was slighly hindered by the fact that I was trying to skill up Krikack Bone Tooth to the level of Legendary so my game plans were not balanced at all in my attempt to skill up my ogre. Now that he has acended into legendary status we will see how the next 24 games stack up.
