Krikack and the Great Maw teleport back into the “man cave” of the Great Maw. The Great Maw takes his satchel of Titanium 7 into the back room where his work shop is located.

3 minutes later he reemerges into the man cave as a 40 year old human male and is rubbing his hands in glee.

He comes up short and he realizes there is another quest in his cave. Lord Borak is laid out in his comfy boy recliner with a bag of chips and drinking a large stein of his ale going through all the channels on his cabalvision big screen ball.

“Nice set up here Great Maw, damn I wish I had a place like this.”

“Krikack why have you not smote this interloper down?”

“Well, Borak and I go back a long time. Figured I would “hang” with him for a little, catch up on some things and then have a party.”

“You thought wrong you dimwitted boneheaded Ogre. I do not suffer CHAOS in my inner sanctuary.”

‘Hold your horses Great Maw Iam not here to eat your chow and drink your beer. Christer has sent me around to “pay back” all those he “owes” for helping me out of a jam. Seems you pulled your weight and for that I thank you. Being captured by pixies was horrible and if the word got out, well my rep would have been done with.

So, I am here with this elixir to give you. Christer says it will bring back a retired player and that was what you wanted in exchange for helping me out.”

‘Well, Iam glad that others hold up their ends of their deals. Seems I placed to much faith in a goblin.”

The Great Maw takes the elixir and stuffs it into his pocket.

“Well, I need to unwind for a moment. Krikack lets have another round of beer and celebrate our victory.”

“What victory?”

“Oh, Krikack and I got our hands on some Titanium 7 and are going to forge Blood Bowl uniforms that will change the face of Blood Bowl for all time. Most likely put BO LLC out of business for good.”

Krikack hands out a round of beers and all three of them toast to the Great Maws brilliance and cunning.

“Follow me gentleman.”

The three of them walk to the back room. Laying on a stretcher is Gromstomp, his body all mangled and bloody.

“hey, Great Maw dude, you know that elixir will only bring back retired players right?”

The Great Maw looks at Borak and gives him an evil grin. Krikack knows that smile and lets out a moan, grabs a chair and sits down for a very long winded explanation of genius.

“Interesting that you would say that Borak. For I, the Great Maw once again used my superior intelligence to once again outwit a mortal, in this case Christer and found a work around for the only retired players can come back.

You see I divined what was going to happen so Gromstomp retired from the Buccaneers in the trade to the Der Green Tide. Thus, even though Gromstomp is dead, he is still considered retired from the Buccaneers and thus this elixir will work to perfection.”

The Great Maw walks up to Gromstomp and opens his mouth, he pours the bubbling acidic purple goo into his mouth and a transformation takes place. His body heals on its own and then the life forces return to Grompstomp. His body slowly begins to fade and then is gone.

“Now I can see by your reaction Borak that you are amazed and in awe. Let us return to the man cave were I can explain why Iam a genius and you’re a mental midget.”

Boark and Krikack sit in the man cave of the Great Maw for over 2 days listening to the Great Maw tell the tales of his epic plans of genius. Needless to say Borak and Krikack have never been so drunk in their lives and where looking forward to passing out in their beds after this long winded discussion with a God.

Coach Hicksey is sitting in his office, going over the FUMBBL CUP roster. When he has that feeling, a tingle runs up his spine. He turns around and looks out the window towards the practice field. He sees the Buccaneers are high fiving Gromstomp and cheering. He lets out a big smile and makes a mark on the FUMBBL Cup roster. Presses a button to talk to his receptionist.

“Cindy can you please inform Kraghul ‘Bone Snapper’ that he is fired. I want his locker cleared out in 10 minutes and his lame services are no longer needed.”


Once again a Buccaneer Legendary Ogre finds his way back from the retirement/dead bin to rejoin his team and lead them once again to GLORY!!!!!!!!!
