The Last Great Quest
Iam about to embark on my last great game quest.
I WILL FINISH DIABLO II ON HARDCORE, KILL THE UBERS AND CLAIM VICTORY!!!!!!!!!
My friends have got the "itch" back and this time we are 100% committed to finishing the dang game.
It has turned into a quest for me. A quest that has started, sputtered, died, restarted BUT never had me so possessed to actually finishing it.
That is over.
SO for all my North American coach buddies. This does not mean I will disappear at night on FUMBBL. Just not as committed, lets say.
My assault on the Hardcore ladder/Uber run has begun.
For those who some interest in Diablo II...My friends and I play on US West at night.
We do who have one friend who is on the Obama plan so he sits around all day and plays. But that is a story unto itself.

Diablo 3? Dont get me started on that piece of crap. Blizzard should be ashamed of releasing that game. The first time I played it was OK, not good, just OK. After that it got worse and worse...
Good luck with D2! Im currently playing Path of Exile and waiting for Torchlight 2. Both games are and will be far superior to Diablo 3.

Woodstock is correct.
I'll put in a plug for The Temple of Elemental Evil with the Circle of Eight modpack.
They just released an update/new content this month, so though the game itself is years old (on the other hand it runs on just about any machine), the modpack makes it as though it was newly released.
Torchlight 2 is also looking kinda fun, but I'm taking a break from super click intensive games at the moment.

woa woa woa... calm down I have not even played or tryed Diablo III. I stick to Fumbbl baby and occasionally Civ5 and CoD4.

diablo 2 on hardcore, what difficulty? I assume you mean all of them. In which case, good luck my friend. I never could do it; too impatient.
I'll play d&d and fumbbl and that will be all I need. (And WoW to spend time with the wife since she plays, and Starcraft 2 when no one wants to play me in fumbbl, but that's just to kill time)

Why would you play CIV 5 and not play the most perfect Civ game ever made in CIV4?

wow, and I thought I was the only one that still likes to play Diablo II and Baldur's Gate II. year 2000 was awesome for games.

JA is awesome. JA2 is one of my most played games. Too bad the newest version of JA is so bad... No more turn based strategy and the rest of the game is terrible as well...
If you like x-com, I suggest you have a look at http://www.xenonauts.com/
It is based on the original x-com, and they added some features from games like JA2 (spending more AP for better shots). It is gonna be awesome.
There is also another x-com remake, http://www.xcom.com/enemyunknown/ , but it costs way too much (60 bucks I think) and I doubt it is as good as the original. I believe your squads are limited to 6 persons and stuff like that.

Ahhh, Terror from the Deep. So many hours of swearing at that blasted game (and coming back for more). They don't really make games like that anymore. (Though some of the Total War series come close)

Yar, I love RTW and MTW2, ETW was too easy, even when modded I could conquer the world within 50 years with the Dutch.

Ever try the ETW mod called: A proper empire, Terra Incognita? I found it more challenging, as there are limits on what you can recruit and can't just steamroll everything. You can also try some of the minor factions which makes it a lot tougher.
